Tessa Gordon and Lili Hoffman, co-founders of Faev
Faev began with a very real post-grad problem. After graduating in 2023, Tessa assumed finding people to live with would feel as easy as it did in college. Instead, she found herself back in her childhood bedroom, scrolling through chaotic online housing groups filled with bots, scammers, and dead ends.
That frustration sparked the idea for something better. When Tessa met Lili, they realized they shared the same experience—and the same belief that needing another person to sign a lease with you shouldn't feel impossible.
Together, they created Faev: a group-first, AI-powered housing platform that helps people form verified roommate groups and connect directly with verified brokers and property managers.
Faev is launching as a web platform in Los Angeles and New York City, starting with renters who want a smarter, more human way to move.
